The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Community Hall in Mpuluzi to render services to the community.

SASSA will be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, and also the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency claimed it's alarmed concerning the significant number of people relying on social grants for survival.
“The intention of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a large amount of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office devoted to service the area on a daily basis. The services stage produced for intervention experiences a high inflow of probable beneficiaries, that makes it challenging for your Workplace to attend to all people who stop by a service point.

“In this reach-out sassa programme, SASSA will mobilise extra methods to permit the servicing of all clients and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
